services. Having celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1994, TRMC is the
result of years of work on the party of physicians, community leaders
and citizens from all walks of life. With 286 beds and more than 90 physicians,
as the healthcare field continues to change and grow, so does The Regional
Medical Center.
Additional healthcare services can be found in Orangeburg at the Family Health Center. With many comprehensive services under one roof, such as pediatrics, preventive care, primary care, obstetrics, adult medicine, dental services and a full pharmacy, healthcare is made easily accessible.
Orangeburg's all-inclusive retirement home, The Methodist Oaks, offers a continuum of care unsurpassed in the area. Living life independently and to its fullest is the theme here where over 450 residents occupy cottages, duplexes, apartments, private and semi-private rooms. With the recent addition of a 176-bed nursing medical facility, the Home increased its services to offer residents and the local community access to rehabilitation, Alzheimer's and dementia care, skilled nursing and pharmacy service, in a 120,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art environment.
